Hey everyone,
I have been modeling for quite some time, that is basic props and what not. However, I have been wanting to move into weapon/character creation for quite some time.
I looked for any relevant tutorials that have been recently created, but found nothing that actually worked since they used 3ds Max 2008, or were released 3 or 4 yeas ago which is no longer relevant due to many changes in the way the modeling programs work. (At least for now because I haven't had any luck)
Ultimately I would like to be shown how to take a decompiled weapon (I know how to decompile the weapons but just be sure I'm doing it the right way) and put it into Maya or 3ds Max, modify it, recompile it, put it in HL2 and see it come to life.
Can anyone recommend tutorials they know work, or would anyone be willing to take me under their wing and show me how to do this??
