photoshop tutorials

Postby aushynee on Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:42 am

I learned how to use photoshop a few years back but never had it at home, I just got it at home when I bought a computer from a distant friend who had it installed. He didn't give me the booklet and all that come with the program, where can i find simple tutorials to remind me how to use all the tools and all.

there's this great site that indexes all the tutorials on the net and you can search through them for the one you need, hell it indexes the whole rest of the net too. I for get what it's called though, I think it starts with 'g' and ends in 'oogle'

Just search YouTube, there is plenty of great tutorials for learning the basics on there, if your interested in digital painting I would check out http://www.ctrlpaint.com/digital-painting-101/

Start with simple projects before you get into proper painting or anything. You'll find that groundwork of knowing how to use the tools you have to hand to be far more important than knowing your brush selections from your blending options.

You'll be amazed how many incredible effects made in tutorials use the absolute basics of Photoshop. You will not have trouble finding them with Google.
