As you may notice that I ported HL2 to Alien Swarm engine (newer engine), and I have a odd problem with npc shooting, now I've track down the problem but it need model recompiling and I lack of modeling skills. So I'm here to ask for help.

This video shows my version of monk, he can shoot but he's still petty broken...

That looks like more then just a modeling problem but I am no expert in Character modeling. Kinda bumping this for the coders to see cause that looks like something related to that NPC in newer code if you ask me.

No, there's no problem in code, using the original Source 2009 models they are fine, but they can't shoot correctly.

Looks to me like you've got an animation problem. Didn't see anything wrong with the shooting, other than that he wasn't aiming at where the bullet went. That would be something to do with the vector not lining up with the animation I guess, and if that's the case then it's likely a coding problem, but you do need someone to fix up those animations. I would suggest loading up that model in HLMV and running through the sequences until you find the ones that are causing that bone collapse and then extracting the sequence smds and fixing it up from there. I'd offer help but I have way too much work on right now, sorry.
