[Help] Trying to find the bones

Hi,

First time poster..

I am asking for help, on how I could pull bones from a non-valve source engine game using the Portal 2 branch of the SDK into Maya. I am completely lost in trying to do it myself, however I heard and read it can be done. I just don't know how? I used the Crowbar tool by ZeqMacaw to decompile the models and I installed and setup Mesa for Maya tool by the Puppet Master, but I thought from there all I do is import files until I find the ones I am looking for.

I think at some point I went in the wrong direction. Could anyone help me out here? I would sincerely appreciate it.
