I have to say, don't go posting about your map on a bunch of forums and hope that they respond well, for a number of reasons. Number one is that most of the feedback you get on forums is about the stuff you have already done. It's hard for most people to accept criticism if it means they have to go back and change what they originally thought was good. Number two is that once you post that wip you get a fleeting feeling of closure, and that often ends in losing the motivation to continue, because you already have the closure you're seeking. That may or may not ring true with you, I know that's what happens to me.
My techniques for recapturing the vibe include getting away from any and all computer related activities for at least three days, until the honeymoon period with my newfound time is over, starting small so I can see the progress quickly, and then moving onto the bigger things organically, or just knuckling down and doing it, committing myself to my mistakes.
I don't want to shamelessly self promote here, but I don't want to re-type, even more.

I think they are relevant.
The main reason, I feel, that I get artists block (modellers block for me, mappers block for you) is that I am too afraid that what I am going to create is not going to be any good. I don't want to waste all that time if I am just going to make something that I will feel ashamed about anyway. But you know what's worse than a half finished, shoddy looking model? No model at all. You don't learn anything from a 0kb file. And time spent thinking about how much you just can't put pen to paper is time wasted. Time spent making a shit model/map is time well spent, because you're learning. You've heard the saying "learn from your mistakes", well you can't learn unless you make those mistakes. Now MAP!
