I've seen that in lots of source games. Sometimes CP points in tf2 do that if there's a window behind them.

It looks like a slightly more powerful program than Milkshape...

Meh...I'll stick to 3DS Max. :D

It says it can export/import HL2 MDL files...awesome...

It's a decent little app actually, not overly powerful but more than enough for making HL2 props.

Guys I am release two unfinished high poly weapons in-case someone finds a use for them. I meant to finish theese but side-tracked so if someone wants to use them then go a head.

The only restraint is that you can't use these models in a commercial product (because you would be breaking the law technically).

Looks like a good way for me too see some other modelers techniques. Thanks!

EDIT: I took a look at them and I didn't learn much. But it seems that I am using a lot of the stuff I see in your HPM models in my own. However I thought that the end of the pump on the shotgun would be hollow, but Instead it went all the way through. But anyways I think I just need to put my mind set in the right direction and keep working. Currently working with the racer Ak-74u tutorial.

Incredible model. You should release it over at FPSB. It's bound to get picked up by skinners and animators and be made in to a good CSS skin.

I tried opening the MAX files but my version is older than the one you made it in so I can't even open it. I have 3DS Max 9. D:

I was going to make a noob's attempt at skinning the thing but I can't even find any good photos to use.

I'm pretty sure that there's one in ZPS, but again, this is a "SHARE your models topic", not a "REQUEST model topic".

I am starting to learn how to make models, and that is on my list. Along with an air hockey table and some arcade games... If I get them done any time soon I will post them here. My plan, once I get decent at making models, it to post everything I make here. For the exception of anything I am going to use in a map I am making later down the road, those would be posted here after said maps release.

Not much action in here...

Well I've created a laser missile targeter for L4D2. It could be used in a finale, guantlet or whatever, say to blow up something to make a path. It's not recommened for Hammer newbs, because there are a lot of different entities used, but there is a compiled .bsp to try out if you can installed the folders/merge them in the right directories.

Check it out!!

Lots of info in the readme if you want to use it.
