Modeling players for CS:S

Postby Flippy-HTF on Sun Jan 16, 2011 11:36 pm

I don't know if this is the right section to ask for it, but here it goes.

Can I do any model to replace the player from CS:S? I mean if I can do a model from a squirrel, for example, and replace it from a Terrorist player.

If the answer is Yes, how? If only you can change skins, doesn't matter.

How much experience do you have with modeling in general? If you're a total novice then it's not something you should attempt until you know how to use a program like 3DS Max or XSI. You don't need to be a complete pro and know everything about the program, but you need to know the basics about weighing a model to a skeleton at the very least.

But I can guarantee you will struggle with consistency errors.
