Weird viewport problem in max

Postby WhiteDevil on Wed Jun 01, 2011 7:25 am

Okay so i recently fired up my student license for 3dmax 2011 and I immediately stumbled to this annoying bug...

watch the arrow closely

Image

So as you see, all the planes just start to live a life of their own when I start to zoom out in my perspective view, also happens if I use a camera nothing seems to weed out that bug. This only happens on dx10 mode but I switch to dx9 I also can't turn on better quality textures for viewport which I desperately need. help?

dx9 better quality should work fine.

Remember if you textures is all ready loade in 3dmax. then you need to restart max, or go into each textures in the material editor and click on "reload"
Light travels faster than sound, that is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
