thats the website owners problem not mine :P

anyway i doubt its illegal, i mean the airbus website actualy has dimensions and weight for the actual plane on there website :P

also, heres another place i found

Google Sketchup 3d warehouse
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/

lots of models there to download and have a play with, and it can easily be converted for use into 3ds max
using a FBX convertor that autodesk supplied.

Heh, I forgot about this thread... We've been writing up loads of tutorials on all sorts of Source related things, generally not covered elsewhere (lots of coding tutorials), and also updating things that are out of date on the VDC for the Orange Box as we port everything over.

http://blog.jailbreaksource.com/

We've done tutorials on pretty much everything, and have plenty more scheduled and in draft (51 at the moment). I've also written a nine part tutorial on creating a character model, rigging it, weightmapping, uv mapping and importing into the game.

Wait, is it already finished? There are only six parts there, looking forward to see 7,8 and 9.

Yep parts 7, 8 and 9 are done! Part 7 goes up in four days time, and the other two parts will follow a week or so after that.

This kid explains a simple edit poly model and uvw unwrap in 3ds max, then bone creation and smd file exporting. He skips compiling, and the last video shows copying files into mod directories:

Is there just a really basic tutorial that explains how to make a cube and get it into GMod?

I'm using the XSI Mod tool thing.

Posted rooz's tutorials on making rock textures with Zbrush. I've totally been playing with that workflow for the last couple of days since I watched them! Also added a tut on the photoshop curves tool.
