Synopsis

Gordon gets dumped some distance away from a city - which conspicuously lacks a Citadel of its own. In this sparse, blasted landscape it's not the Combine Gordon needs to look out for, but a way back to City 17.

Yeah, that chicken wire fence prop... man. Doesn't cast shadows right. Doesn't collide right either. Yet, it adds so much to any rural scene.

Not a prayer of getting this finished in time, which I can largely owe to a combination of Uni work and moving house. It's tempting to throw myself at the 11 hours remaining, but frankly that's pretty optimistic.

Before you say "submit it anyway" Steve, it's unplayable. A bunch of unfinished sequences, and the blocking out isn't complete. I'm disappointed in myself, but I'm going to try and finish it and post it at some point in the near future.

Certainly try finish it when you can though , I loved the design of that building in the first pic.

Set those billboard trees back further on the cliff up there and put some actual 3d trees and rocks and such in front of them. They pop out as 2d so you need to occlude them a bit.

Broski there's not even a single 'normal' tree in there yet - gotta test first.

Edit; apart from that one in the first shot. And maybe some others. But yeah, the 2d's are used to gauge distance and occlusion etc. etc. - come on Abe, I'm not a half-arsed kinda guy
