The reason(s) I moved and stickied this because this is a really well written document which is very very useful for budding modders to read. It gives some excellent insight into the pitfalls and problems which can be encountered by a mod.

Secondly I think it serves nicely as a memorial for an excellent promising project which was born from our community but sadly died.

Ah, nice to see ya. Also, it seems like more media was released? that must of been done since the mod is discontinued.

that media is all concepts/shots of maps of areas/characters etc that were all shelved due to being overly ambitious. We didn't want to show any 'relevant' media due to potential re-commencing of the project, in the future.

a very informative article on mod structuring. pity how peoples expectations can often misconstrue what design goals are created for.

yeah that was a very good read. i'm very glad that someone had the balls to put that all up. i hope a few mod teams can find something in there to learn from. such a great looking mod... so sad to see it go.
