Looking for Level Designers for Windows Mobile 3D Adventure

Hi there, I'm working on a finishing a game based on the quake 1 engine. The game is written for windows mobile (pocket pc). http://www.darksummer.com

If I have some folks to help with level design the game could be done in about 2 months. The more mappers the less maps each of us would need to tackle :)

I'm using Worldcraft 1.6 to make the maps which is really only mildly different than even the latest version of hammer. Level Design is extremely simple as the maps must be relatively low detail due to the game running in software mode on a strongarm cpu.

Some of our mappers have used Radiant as well with great success as well.

This game was originally a Half Life 1 mod that I ported over to quake due to how similar they were in terms of tools / formats.

A decent mapper who's comfortable with mapping can make a map for dark summer on average between 1-2 hours depending on complexity, some can be done even faster, like transitional maps and such.

The game has 22 monsters, 18 NPC's, we have hundreds of textures already created hundreds of custom textures already made. We're looking for people who have a couple hours a week to help us break up the workload.

the engine has been highly modified to function as a survival horror styled game using the touch screen to navigate and fight enemies. It's more like half life than quake at this point, in terms of triggers and entities..

most of the gameplay functionality / code is already done, except questing stuff which needs the maps completed first (and coder is handling the quest code, so you're focused on stage creation and monster placement).

you don't need to own a pocket pc to make maps as we have a pc client that emulates the touch screen interface. you can see one of the maps i'm working on currently in this post.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please let me know
If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.

Thanks!
Caleb
