I think it's pretty fun... even if it only has two maps....

but what do you think?

Even with only 2 maps to play that amount of diffrent situations that can occur from a person controlling the enemies makes the mod quite fun. I've played quite a few rounds of the mod and I have to say its only gonna get better. I personally love playing the Overwatch my self cause I'm just a stickler for ruining peoples days. :P

Oh and it was fun meeting some lopers while playing too. Your name is still a mystery to me vivi...

needs nore maps, needs better AI. both are on the way. needs Ep1 and Ep2 NPC's. needs MOAR zombies.

I love the concept !!

yeah, but only in the future, I'm not so down with it right now, but it seems like most of my gripes will be fixed in future versions, so we'll see what happens.

I actually quite enjoyed this, it's more enjoyable than Synergy, Obsidian Conflict or Zombie Master for two very good reasons: the maps are non-linear and have randomized objectives; secondly you actually have a good idea of what to do (whereas in the aforementioned mods most players run around for ages trying to work out wtf they need to do).

The main thing I hope to see in the mod will be more maps, and mapchange whenever a round is over. I'll be keeping an eye on it for sure!

Just having played, I am impressed.
Really, coming from an RTS background this is great.

So far I have only played Breach, they said they are gonna fix the map change issue.
No striders and I felt as overwatch my options were limited.

Also did i miss something, is there an indication of resource? I can see recharges and "charges" I assume overtime a spawn generates charges?

Provided the AI is tweaked to do their own thing only when they've reached their assigned point (having them stop to take potshots when I want them to run to cover to complete a flanking manuever isn't so great) it should be quite interesting. Not quite sure how the spawning system works in regards to recharging or action points or whatever they run on though.

So played some more,

Overwatch is both Over powered in some respects and Under powered in others.

Shotgunner combine are insane, I would guess that will be fixed in the next update.
AI prioritizing is also an issue, I've seen the combine while moving will target a player and be completely oblivious to me slowly crowbarring my way through then from behind them.....

And like Gradius brought up, I have no idea wth is with the resource system...
This is how i play...

Green Icon = Soldier (Shotgun/SMG)
Red = Extra (IE, Man Hacks/Metro/repell)

They are on independent cooldowns yet they both seem to influence each-other somehow...
I do like how the amount of units scales depending on the size of the rebel force.
I do feel bad when the team of 10+ rebels has 1 guy on a hack terminal.... I drop like 8 manhacks on him....

But with some tweaking this mod will be going places! Although I would like to see more verity in the Rebel equipment, I would like a "loadout" style system but that might stray from the type of gameplay they are going for.
