So when do we get a response?

Edit: I just played the game for the first time; got a feel of it, found out what people are after besides "NEW GUNS" and "ANTLIONS".

Christ I want to work for these guys. The maps are dire but the mod code and everything...wow.

I'm just going to wait a few more days to give others a chance to send in their applications as well.

Once we're done prepping 1.2.0 for release, we'll have a bit of down time to look over them all carefully.

Sent mine out.
Not entirely optimistic but at least I got the courage to press the send button XD

I thought the maps were pretty good fun - each time they play incredibly differently. The only bad thing about the maps are the widescale use of orange dev textures.

Which is only temporary, obviously.

Phase 2 of Citadel and Breach's dev is almost done, we'll probably have one more to iron out any last gameplay quirks and balance issues, then come the art passes and detailing. It won't be much longer.

You've only had to tolerate orange textures for a few weeks, we've been looking at them for over a year. Believe me when I say, we're as anxious as everyone to get them looking pretty.

Something tells me Overwatch will be around for a long time. Once I wear down some of my current projects I will be earnestly looking forward to creating a map for Overwatch.

In terms of gameplay feedback, it is SOLID. And the only improvement I can really suggest at this time is to aggressively develop more options for Rebel Objectives and Combine Traps. I think the possible number of Rebel Objectives and Combine Traps you can introduce in future maps is LIMITLESS.

I guess the only other thing I can suggest alongside that is to create a mini-map for the Overwatch player? Perhaps that is too much for now. But again, this one should be around for years.

Truly superb modding, guys.

Thank you!

The Overwatch player already has a minimap (actually, both players do). What version are you running?

I was happy to apply.

Not amazingly pleased with response times.

I understand that a fair number of applications are made but I'd rather be told "sorry chap" than wait for a few weeks.

Hello all,

I really appreciate everyone's patience. I wanted to give all our level designers a chance to go over every application before replying to any of them.

It's been a busy few weeks for them since this release was map-focused, but I should get all their feedback in before the end of the weekend.

I'll start sending out replies early next week.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our 1.2.0 update: http://www.moddb.com/mods/overwatch/new ... e-released
