Hello Interlopers :P,

I'm new on the forums , all I have to say is: WOOOTT this forum rulez.. It has everything you can ask for..UNTIL :!:

I started making a mod.. A Multiplayer mod for Half Life 2 Deathmatch called Stealth Source.

What is Stealth Source :?: :

Stealth Source is a deathmatch only mod,

Stealth based, fast paced gameplay!

Yes, it's revolutionary.. Kind of like Metal Gear Solid.. But in Firstperson & Deathmatch ! ( what else can you ask for !? )

Let's get on topic:

I want to have experience leveling system in Stealth Source. Like when you kill an enemy you get 10 XP ( each 1000 XP is 1 level (up) ). I don't know where to start.. Do I have to script this :?: or is there script that I can download and add to my mod :?:

Any help will be appreciated! :smt023

Welcome to Interlopers.

First of all, your post structure confuses me for some reason...

What kind of progress do you have on your mod? Do you have a Moddb page yet?

What do you do for your mod? Map? Code?

Also, for your Leveling system, do want something like this?
Have a question related to modding or something I posted? Something that needs staff attention? I haven't been active lately, but feel free to PM me or message me on Steam(link below)

Its a much tidier post.
Your current one at first made me think I was looking at code lines, and putting soo many line breaks is annoying.

As for your question, You will need to code this system in.
That above link should give you enough instructions to move it into the mod.

But don't get too carried away with yourself.

(Hint: If you do not have access to the primary code of your mod and wish to add very code related custom content into it, you should read up on the VDC before going anywhere else.)
