Texture wont show up on the model

Hey guys, Im making a vase model for Source engine 2009.
I have already posted on another forum and ive gotten a few answers but not very helpfull, so if anyone would be that kind and help me, please visit the other forum (which seem to be pretty dead)

The dude in that forum is right. You can't have the LightMappedGeneric Shader on a model. That simply doesn't work. For models use VertexLitGeneric!

If it's purple/black checkerboarded, most likely you accidentally broke the link to the basetexture when to changed the shader type. Make sure the path is correct and add " " on both sides of it.

and make sure to use \ instead of /

Its fixed now, wrong flag checked in the .vtf, and wrong directory in the .vmt
