Hi,
the CSPromod Team is now recruiting new members.

First of all, they need a new coder - requirements are: strong C++ skills and Source SDK experience :)
We'd also appreciate a character modeler, environment artist, texture artist or a particle effects artist.

Yeah because that had nothing to do with CS's popularity did it. Try doing it off your own back, maybe then you can float that attitude around. Haters gonna hate? Making excuses already? I guess you didn't want it to be successful anyway right?

CS is popular, that's a fact - deal with it.

CSP haters are gonna hate it forever. Doesn't matter if it's a fail release as the initial ones or a pretty stable one like the post-1.03. I guess you have never met the true 1.6 die-hard attitude.

Thanks for clearing that up cashed. And FYI Yuri, I've played 1.6 for about 8-9 years, including at WCG London and WSVG London. The hate weasn't because it was an unstable release - it was because it didn't feel/play like 1.6 which was the entire point of the project.

its also hard getting quality people for this mod mainly because it is not unique. It is riding off the curttails of the CS brand, but most of our base is a niche of the competitive community which is sadly the worst. (whining etc)

Seems a tad pointless to me. Judging from your media, all you've done is taken the official maps and removed any detailing and rotation of crates.

Is it wrong that I've played CS since 1.5 and I like CSS the way it is?

Oh, and this thread made me chuckle.
