That's a fantastic idea! With videogame production becoming more time consuming for just one person to tackle, a service like this saves a lot of time and grief.

Thanks for the plug, ark. At the risk of tooting my own horn, ark asked for a candle and I made 3 instead, all with custom gib models, for no extra charge. I wasn't happy with a single static candle. What happens if someone shoots it?

Also, a full transformer? I reckon I could do that, but it would take way too long for it to be worth either of our time, I can't work on it full time :/ but hell if you're serious then request a quote through the site. You don't have to go ahead with it if you don't want to.

Just went through the process with Black_Stormy to get the corroded brass gargoyles in the stretch room in Disneyland's The Haunted Mansion made. I think they turned out great! Black_Stormy was clear and communicated frequently, and the model fetched for a reasonable $40. It only took about 2 weeks.

That´s so far the best model I have seen in this thread. $40 isn´t too much at all and with this Black Stormy shows a (at least for me) next level of modeling I didn´t know he was capable of.

Would use your services if i had the money. I´d like to have a few custom NPCs in my mod. I´ll think about it.

Thanks Gambini, I've done custom NPCs before, have a look at my previous products page. And thanks Dives, it was a fun model! It seems more people are coming to me for complex pieces rather than simple props, which is the opposite of what I expected but it's been working out quite well.

Great work but there´s something wrong with crates 5 and 6 (counting from left to right and from top to bottom) the texture is somewhat weird. The edges are metalic. But what kind of metal? so erosioned and still not rusted? and it seems to be in exactly the same plane than the wood, like if it were a very very thin sheet of metal. And even so. Should not be there a small bevel between them? And should not the wood be affected by the metal?

I have crates like those in my shed and next to the metal structure the wood is like darker, like "infected" by the rust and humidity of the metalic part. I hope you understand what i mean. Also the patern of dirt/whatever is the same as much for the metal as for the wood.

@black_stormy: what was the cost of the pack?

@Gambini: That's a thin galvanized metal strip, they don't corrode very quickly. The crates are supposed to be in a warehouse/storage scene so I didn't muck them up too much. The specular kind of differentiates the wood from the metal in terms of depth, none of these have normal maps.

@Joe_rogers: I don't want to say without the holders permission but I will say that I let them go way too cheap.

Their texture seems a little blurry, what resolution did you use on them? Other then that, they look great though.

I got a crate from some Russian speaking country(not sure which, I can't read Russian). Full of 5.45.

Have to say, this is a GREAT idea! My friend and I talked about this same thing years ago, but sadly neither one of us are able to make models. I may be hitting you up in the near future. I have several maps that could use quite a few models to finish them off.

They're all 1024, the bigger ones could have done with 2048 but I still have an aversion to using 2048 textures on simple props, call me an optimization whore.
