Sounds alright to me, I think some of you lopers are being a bit pedantic. Definitely could use some more commitment to the lines and in the same vein, lower the dramatization a bit, but for a mod with a limited cast, the addition of a voice can stave off the boredom a little. I think the main problem is that you're sitting at your desk recording a sound byte, and you sound like you're sitting at a desk recording a sound byte. Stand up, move away from the desk, get a good solid stance am really act out the lines. Although no one can see you it will ring through in your voice and make the performance much more believable. Try getting a sequence from a game which contains a character you feel your voice is suited to, record the video and dub over it, see if you can disable voice in the game so you can keep the sound foley behind it, and try to match or better the performance. And don't be so embarrassed that you're doing it man, fuck everyone who thinks their opinion is more valid than yours, when you shrug off your inhibitions and go for it, your performance will be phenomenal, when you let your inhibitions take over, your performance will be shit and will only lead to more embarrassment.

clap clap clap clap clap

Specially to your first sentence. I have the feeling a lot of people here is way too professional to be bothered listening an amateur voice actor doing his first attemps.
