Not too sure about the green. It doesn't hurt my eyes or anything, I just feel like people are going to talk about it.

Ok fair enough. Is the overall design any better though? Or should I drop the retro idea and just go with something more simple?

Forgot to mention that the idea is that it would start with a menu screen like this:

(obviously for the retro site the text would be green)

Here's the simple design option:

Simple design is nice, but really I kinda liked the green. Guess you can't please everyone I guess. XD

Add this to your a:hover declaration in the CSS:
Code: Select all
line-height: .9em;

I definitely prefer the new design, but I liked the green. The logo you have really does look like it's straight out of the 90s. I think that border you had around the content looked like an old beige CRT monitor. Those two designs worked well together, it made the website look like an old "personal computer terminal". 3 minutes in GIMP and you've got a nice looking CRT screen:

But honestly, what you have there is way better anyway, leave it for now and get some pro to help you out later.

Cool thanks for the feedback guys. Funny how I was originally posting about environment artists and got website feedback :P Wouldn't have figured that from lopers :P

And Stormy, thanks for the line height code. Didn't know you could adjust that :) Looks much better now that the buttons aren't pushing each other out of the way.
