BLACK SNOW released!

Hey guys, long time no post. I've been working on a small mod since the start of the year and I'm happy to say it's finally done! It has some relation the the current independent game I have also been working on so hopefully this will give me some useful data.

BLACK SNOW is a singleplayer horror adventure mod with an emphasis on atmosphere and strong inklings to The Thing movies.

You play John Matsuda, an IT Technician that is part of the Prometheus assessment team sent to investigate communication silence at a research station in Greenland. Naturally, nothing is what it seems.

Just played part of it. While not hated it, my opinion (so far) isn´t exactly very positive. Are you interested on hearing it? I´m not going to be intentionally harsh but there are quite a few things to point IMHO.

Played it. If you have seen movie The Thing, there is no way you can't get some shivers because how much the mod reminds of the movie. And...

Absolutely fantastic job! I thought the game would go on but suddenly... the ending happened. I felt disappointment a bit. Still enjoyed the mod very much...
But there are some nasty parts that I totally dislike.

Spoiler
Highlight to read:
First of all, there is no way to see anything. For an example, in order to the get the torch, you need to go through an enemy and climb up the boxes, with almost no light sources. I know you can use the flares but they give so small light and you have no way of knowing that you actually HAVE to go up there.
Other one was the main building. After the first enemy encounter, you basically try to go around the building but it's not possible because of the enemy and lack of light. But I can forgive this, because I didn't know you could turn on the power to the main building.

The first enemy encounter was... weird. The part where the light goes through the hallway and... well, you know. The mod fails at representing the gameplay mechanic. Since you don't have any weapons, you have to use light. You can't know that!
Well, basically what happened to me was; I waited, I waited, I heared noises, I died and I got confused. And then I finally understood the mechanic after many failures.

Also, you can go through this window in cafeteria. A little bug I found.

Highlight to read:
I had to cheat. The X-ray puzzle was too much. Ent_remove on the door.
