Wow, calm down and stop flaming. :( He just forgot to put in his contacts, sheesh...

The puzzles were nice but I would have liked to see a bigger affect for solving them. They were also not very big or challenging.

I didn't find any really hard puzzles. :? But that's not the worse, it was a pretty unexpected ending. Not any challenge at all...

I think puzzles are probably the hardest things to make, thye have to be unique, new, challenging, but also slightly obvious, otherwise the player gets frustrated.

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a good puzzle in any game or mod

... Did you, perhaps, try the ladder ON the container? ...

i would like to officially take back my comment about that being bad design! if you need me, i'll be over there with my foot in my mouth :D

At the moment its suffering from "Awakening" syndrome, gameplay focused on combine combat. Its not helping that i have 6HP and i have to face a good number of combine. I will continue this tomorrow, i'm looking forward to it too, which is a first.

I tried to use cheats to get ammo so he wouldn't keep giving it to me but it breaks the game. The part where you pick up the squishy thing to control the antalions broke because I couldn't pick it up.

Average mod, to be honest. Played it in Hard Mode; found myself without enough ammo to take on the Combine at the very beginning (And I'm very cautious with my weapon usage in Hard). The guys following me were fairly ... useless in that they'd block my path and rarely advance upon an enemy.

There was a point where I was surprised by Combine coming out of cells weilding shotguns in my face, but that soon passed as it became the cornerstone of indoor combat.

The APC with the rocket launcher; I don't know WHAT happened there apart from me sitting on my ass for five minutes looking out a door til a wall somehow got blown open by a large Antlion. Even then I had to make a wild rush cause I had very little HP.

The "finale" if we can call it that was literally impossible. The Strider was firing through walls for Christ's sake, what am I supposed to do about that? I wound up being VERY lucky and managing to rush the switch, turn it on and get down to safety with about 3HP.

It was a challenging game but as has been said, the Antlions were gormless little critters with very little use, your comrades were fairly useless and didn't seem to fight with much enthusiasm and a lot of the level design was bland and boring.

Some of the puzzles were good; I noticed a few had more than one path to completion - Which is always a good thing.

3.5 / 5

I agree with Rustvaar, you didn't really start a big cool riot. You had some mates with you blocking the path and Antlions dying all the time. But still i enjoyed the mod.

I found the antlions really usefull and the strider part really easy

Would have been cool though if there were massive battles/waves of citizens running around and killing, even if just in a cinematic way

Agree with above.

Anyway, I still seriously enjoyed it. Hardest experience on Medium I've ever had, from a run'n'gun FPS.
