Signy has kicked off a weekly event called In the style of, basically a theme is picked each week (members pick and choose) and then those who fancy giving it a go, attempt to replicate it as best they can. It's all good fun and helps a lot in improving your level-design skills:

"Few guidelines:

1. It does not have to be playable.
2. It does not have to be an exact copy of the screens.
3. It does not have to be neat or tidy, just look good.
4. It needs to be in the style of the chosen weekly theme.
5. When submitting your final Screenshot(s) make sure you make it clear its your final one.
7. This is all about fun and improving skills so keep it clean.
8. Anybody can enter you will not be flamed for your attempts.
9. You have exactly 7 days to get your final submission in from the day that the topic is chosen.
10. This is not a competition, there are no winners/loosers its just for a bit of fun."
