The three competition maps for the Valve contest are now available:

Three Half-Life 2: Deathmatch maps are now available via Steam. These maps were created by the three players who won our recent HL2: DM mapping contest. If you have HL2: DM installed in your Steam games list, you will receive the new maps automatically.

The new maps are:

* Winner: dm_underpass by Scott M Jordan, USA
* 1st Runner Up: dm_resistance* by Jonathan Linker, Germany
* 2nd Runner Up: dm_powerhouse by Michael Schulz, Germany

is anyone else experiencing bad FPS on dm_underpass? I just started a local server on my machine to walk around the level and see what the fuss was about, and in some parts it was a bit jerky. And the single player campaign runs perfectly on my machine, also this has never happened with any other map sp, dm, or cs:s....

its a good map though, can't wait to kill some people online in it. haven't check out the other maps yet however. I thought dm_Avalon would be released with this?

YYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS now i can finally play dm_powerhouse and dm_resisitance, already got dm_underpass

powerhouse is a great map.. i've really never seen such quality

avalon got a merity prize, it went 4th place i think, or probably couldn't be judged because it was realeased before the contest winers where anounced(they couldn't do that, it was on the cnotest rules). You can still downlaod from 3d-mike site

I'm having trouble believing that dm_resistance is actually one of the maps that won. That map makes my stomach turn.

i think its ok, a tad on the small side but good for 1 on 1

powerhouse has some sweet brushwork, takes me back to HL1 when everythign was made that way.
