hey, found this on http://www.planethalflife.com :

"I was talking to Doug Lombardi yesterday on this year's upcoming releases, E3, etc. Here's what he had to say:
Half-Life 2: Aftermath is due in late summer. The episode continues the adventures of Gordon Freeman, and begins immediately following the conclusion of HL2. It will be available via Steam and may appear in retail boxes as well. It is not slated to appear at E3.

Lost Coast is slated to appear in the Games for Windows areas at E3, and is scheduled for release during the summer months.

Half-Life 2 Xbox, featured on this month's issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, is slated for completion in August and will be shown in Microsoft's booth at E3.
Thanks, Doug, for clarifying things for us. As always, keep it tuned to Planet Half-Life for all the latest updates."

So I guess Aftermath FOLLOWS the adventres of Gordon Freeman, meaning you will be playing as him......I really want to see how they do this since the citedel blows up and with it Alex? but she is in the screen shots of Aftermath, and so is the citadel in the background....too many things to think about.....*head explodes* :smt119

Those things look pretty freaky...

arent they political prisoners and combine slaves?

HL2 has a very good plot - of sorts. It may not be spoonfeeding you a direct 'plot' as such, but it's building up a myth, and as the numerous recurring "who exactly is the g-man?" threads show, there are many unanswered questions. It's about a stylistic story, not an "A went to B and did C then D" story.
Highlight to read:
It was earth all along

i am playing hl2 to the end, it was obviosuly rushed.

cs s doesnt need a plot, but their levels are hell of a lot better looking.
