It's about time to show some images of the single-player project currently in production here at Interlopers.

Being developed by myself and dux it puts you in the shoes of Gordon Freeman once again, who finds himself in the midst of a combine attack on a rebel safe house located in neighbouring City 14.

Currently there are no plans to modify any Half-Life 2 content, instead focusing on gameplay and level-design and a light story element. We intend to bring a little touch of HL2 back into the Mod scene. Here are some screenshots:

Good start, although its all looking very bare more like a ghost town than city 17.

Also not enough of the architecture is broken, i dnt think city 17 was handed over peacfully when the combine arrived.

Lets get some damage and some clutter, add in a few pedestrians mebe a few patrol groups.

What it really lacks is intense amount of detail, but ill put that down do you guys having so much fun with the scripting.

Keep up the good work.

It's in City 14, not 17.

How long you planning on making it?

I must say I still have a bug up my ass about story issues..Hope you do a good job of it storywise! i'm fully confident it'll look sweet, are you planning on having a similar gameplay style to HL2? puzzles, ood routs and the occasional all-out street battle?

If you need models, I'll happily lend a hand ;)

edit: yeah, how do you do the outdoor lighting like that?!

i'm afraid i must agree with signy on this one.. looks a bit to empty and clean.. you have wrecked cars, but the buildings around them are perfect, imo you could do better.. but it does have a really good look, keep up :-D

is city 14 a resistance against city 17? or against the combine and whatnot? i never really read or payed attention to the story, i just like blowing shit up. if it is you should make it like an everyday city and the starting should be gordon dreaming all of the destruction of city 14 then he whips out the gun, walks out the door, and wadda ya know, you see falling headcrabs shooting past you're face

We will be needing some voice talent, if anyone has the means for decent recordings and feels they can provide a decent voice, let me know.
