Raindrop Opens Doors

Postby Blink on Tue Dec 30, 2008 12:00 am

A new mod has set up shop over at Moddb, known as Raindrop:

Raindrop is a Half Life 2 based single player modification that will keep you on the edge of your seat! You wake up in the middle of nowhere, with no equipment or memories and must survive in the harsh and desolate conditions. You eventually meet up with a group of lost people who are rummaging the country side looking for food and shelter. Your only choice is to tag along in your hopes to find answers to all this madness. The majority of your time will be spent in a huge abandoned complex that may hold the key to all of your unanswered questions. This breathtaking adventure will put you face to face with danger in the most bone-chilling atmosphere you will ever see in a horror mod. So strap up and hold on for the ride of your life!

You can find out more info on their Moddb profile and also check out a teaser trailer.

The maps look great but I did chuckle at this cliché line.

You wake up in the middle of nowhere, with no equipment or memories and must survive in the harsh and desolate conditions.

I've been following the thread, and I've gotta say this looks great. The video's been giving me trouble, and it's not up on youtube, so I've been unable to watch it though :(
