GoldenEye: Source Beta 3 Released

It's been a good couple of days for releases, and the GoldenEye: Source team are continuing the trend with their latest release, the Beta 3 version of their multiplayer mod.

That's right, the highly anticipated GoldenEye: Source BETA 3 has officially gone Gold! After extensive development, and hard work by our testers, we've finally got a stable build, ready for release. The BETA 3 has been a long development process, and probably even a longer wait for our community. The process all started with the switch to the new Source Orange Box Engine, and completely started our code from scratch, in light of the new Engine. We are very excited to have finally gotten to this point, and we know that you, the fans, will be even happier once you get your hands on it.

just messed around with it a bit, brought back some good memories. especially the paintball easteregg.

Been playing on and off for the past two days or so. It's some great fun. Maybe not here, but it IS getting attention, quite a bit of servers up.

It definitely has some flaws, but I think the pros outweigh the cons.

I've really been enjoying it.

The soundtrack, especially, is utterly superb.
