They've been a (very) long time coming but they're finally here, the 2008 Interlopers Forum Awards. Basically it's your chance to nominate a forum member for each category. They are:

To place your votes you need to head over to this nomination form and fill out each field. After the nominations are collected, the highest three members in each category will then be put to a second public vote where the winner will be chosen.

I'm not sure that nominating counts as a vote, I think the people with the highest nominations will go into a final vote between 3 people or so for each category, then everyone votes for 1 of those 3 people for each category.

I don't think you understand what I said. After the top 3 nominees are chosen, a new vote is made with them where every forum member votes between those 3. So unless no one but the 3 nominees who vote for themselves vote, that would be impossible.
