This really isn't that good.

This is probably the biggest lie I've ever told.

That first shot looks amazing, almost like a photo in the small view! I must say though, is it just me, or is the lighting off? looking at it it seems the shadows and the angle of the lights is wrong, has it been faked with spotlights?

i remember when raindrop was just a delapidated interior. my how it's exploded with continual high quality shots. makes me wonder how it will run on a frankenchine like mine.

(i probably dont' have the required content anyhow :( )

At first I thought it was concept art,

then after getting a closer look I nearly shit a brick!! Damn, not even valve has brought this much eye candy from the Source engine!! It looks good, no doubt about it. However I wonder how much power it'll need to run properly?

IMO they really need custom skybox for the forest map :)

You have a point, something about these screens seem a bit off... Photoshop?

The images are not Photoshopped, they're just screenshots. As a matter of fact, they don't even have anti-aliasing enabled, so they could've looked even better!

As for the performance question: rest assured that if your machine can run HL2: Episode 2 properly, you'll be able to run Raindrop fine.

It REALLY reminds me of Stalker, which isn't bad at all.

They've got some really good level designers. Some of the best outdoor mapping I've seen. That first picture definitely caught my attention. It's simple, but it's so good. I'm a sucker for volumetric lighting, so I guess that's partly the reason why I love it so much.

Hopefully the gameplay will live up to the graphics. :)

And hopefully it doesn't die. ^^
