Personally, I'm interested to know more about the story. Waking up in a tunnel with nothing but a name(or was it not even a name :? ) just leaves us knowing nothing. I want to know more.

And nice work on the level design, I'd really like to see some post-release development papers. That would be very interesting for the greater mod community.

The backstory of the mod can be downloaded here. As for the in-game story, we won't reveal too much about it, you'll just have to play the mod when it's released :)

Good idea, we might actually do that.

No offense, but you pretty much have to.
Any ambitious project that seeks feedback from the community has to give something back. I'm not saying that these amazing screenshots or even a finished product aren't giving back, but there's a real big difference between the people who post "omg it luk so good!!!!1" and "looks good, but the normals on suchandso prop look like they're flipped."
The finished product is a reward for everyone who marveled at the pretty pictures you posted while working. A Postmortem is a reward for everyone who tried to help you with your work. Hell, think of it from an OSS standpoint: spread your knowledge, and the world will be a more enlightened place because of it.
...wait, is that OSS or Buddhism?
i had fun once, and it was awful.

This looks so Pripyat, wow, I've been there in the beginning of the month and that looks nearly exactly like some of the photos I shot there, great job, I love the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. feeling to it :)

You know I have actually gotten pretty sick of how everyone likens anything abandoned to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. So I finally ordered myself a copy. It arrives either tomorrow or the day after, I'm wondering if this mod actually holds many real similarities to the game besides the fact that it is based within an Eastern European city that has been abandoned.

P.S I've never been more excited for a video game/mod (except for Halo 2 when i was almost 12:P) than this, the mapping really brings out a certain solidarity within the art that many user made maps/mods fail to achieve. It looks simply beautiful.

Well it's a great compliment to be compared to that game, plus here's an example:

Compare to: http://www.moddb.com/mods/raindrop/images/update

Of course it's not exactly the same, but you can imagine why people see a similarity.

For the first time ever, i'll be happy if some of this content is leaked onto Garrysmod.org
