Well, having finally had some time to mess around with the spy items, the Dead Ringer is way too overpowered methinks.

Now, usually, I am far from the highest-scoring player on the server, and that's fine; but once I got the Dead Ringer and figured out how to use it, I became THE highest-scoring player on the server, by a ridiculous margin. The highest score before mine was 177, I was at 283 - as a spy. People let their guard down almost immediately after seeing your fake body die, making it practically impossible not to waltz behind them and plant a loving butterfly knife into their spine. I felt like a goddamned, well, god, lazily picking my sacrifice.

Granted, it's probably the most fun I've had as a spy in TF2 in ages; I stopped being frustrated at being killed, (namely because I wasn't half the time!) But I know others (namely the Steam Forums) will surely see it as overpowered. Perhaps make it break after a certain number of uses? Either way, I am going continue having fun with it until the inevitable nerf.

It's not overpowered at all. I kept killing this Spy over and over again because he was blatantly using the Deadringer after dieing from a single minigun bullet and I knew he was going to attempt to sneak up behind me and kill me. The sound it makes is pretty obvious too.

I HATE the Dead Ringer... I didn't know how to use it at first, and once I figured it out it was useless because you can't stab within the 8 seconds you're cloaked.

The unlock system was actually in my favor in the last few hours I played. I got 4 unlocks and only one of them was a repeat of something I already had.

Yeah, I ended up going around in circles a couple of times too. It's understandable though, because once you learn it it works out really well.

I love some of the back ways you can take though, you can ambush the crap out of 'em :D

tbh i dont really see the trading being used. It's looks good on paper, but ultimately nobody will use that system (or hardly anyone atleast)

The first thing a did when I got the spy watch was jokingly ask if anyone wanted it (I don't usually find a need to play spy). Little did I know that Valve were actually intending this kind of ability :/. I guess it won't be useful for most people, but I think it's good to have that ability there as it can be used to help out new players.

I have every weapon now, and plenty of duplicates, so if and when the day comes, we can start a "TF2 ITEM TRADING" thread. Even though I'm pretty sure most people will have shit, so it'll be more like "lulz I'll trade u mah 5 Bonk! Sodas for ur 3 Flare gunz!"
