it is for source, but it was inically amde on ut engine.

As mentioned in last week's Steam update, the former UT modification Alien Swarm is making its way to the Source engine

it's a rip of, only a blind guy wouldn't see it, but they managed to take the fun part of(1st person). Just to prove my point, if some asked you wath NS is how would you define it? i would say:

it's a aliens vs marines 1st person shoter, and it has a comander feature, wich is seen in overview.

now doesn't that sound familiar?
I've no sign

Jebus. It's like comparing Half-Life 2 and Doom 3. Both have guns, both have things to shoot. OMG THEY'RE EXACTLY THE SAME! RTIP OFF! I MUST TALK IN CAPS TO DISPLAY MY UPTMOST OUTRAGE FOR THIS!

No. Stop being stupid comparing the two.

One is a top down shooter. Remember those things from back in nintendo days? Yes? That's what this game is, only it's down with a nice engine so it looks great. The fact that it's marines versus aliens isn't a bold new idea, but it hasn't BEEN a bold new idea since...well, since videogames have existed. While there are some cosmetic similarities to NS, they play COMPLETELY differently. Give it a chance before you dismiss it. If you still don't like it, then at least you've attempted to broaden your horizans. Until then, shush.

indeed it does. Resistance and liberation has similarities to Day of Defeat: both are WW2 mods, both are Halflife mods, are FPS's, both have a similar look (ie: like ww2), but in the end, they will play drastically different from each other. See the parrallel?
