TF2 Achievement Milestones Return

Postby ad_hominem on Sat May 30, 2009 9:56 am

An update for Team Fortress 2 has been released, bringing back achievement milestones for the Spy and Sniper classes so that now players can unlock the new weapons in the same way as the rest of the updated classes.

Added Sniper/Spy milestone achievements as an additional way players can get the new unlockables

The random drops are still present, but now those of you who were angry at not being able to work towards a specific unlock should be at least pacified. You can read the rest of the changes in the update on the Steam News post.

Are you happy now?

I'm going to hold off on being a spy for a while, I can't properly play when there's both
1)90% of the team as spy as well,
2)90% of the other team spychecking everything they see, (Including walls, small animals, and me).

However I did get a nice kill with the dead ringer :D I think that's one of my favorites now :)

At first I tought the Ambassador sucked balls, but once I got it, I have to admit it's superior if you can aim. I shot a scout on arena_watchtower in the head when he was running somewhere far away, killed him instantly.

The Cloak and Dagger is pretty nifty as well, I just don't see why people complain so much about it. Being able to disguise as your own team helps a lot before approaching an enemy outpost. Hide behind a corner, cloak, and quickly get behind and wait for recharge. If the team sees a spy running towards them and dissapearing they'l sure spycheck every inch.

The Deadringer is what I love most so far. Most people don't bother checking where you're dead or not.
