The boys over at Gear have released another media update for the upcoming single player mod City 17: Episode 1, this time containing a full 7 minutes of the kind of gameplay you can expect from the finished mod.

watched the video, looks like more of episode one stuff, which is no bad thing indeed! The headcrab cannisters were very impressive.

I noticed their sprites are messed up just like in my mod. I wish there was a fix =/

Looks like a more destroyed version of the Episode 1 maps, with all the debris everywhere. Could this be the mod to challenge Minerva?

Looking good! The SSBumps really help, except on the road when the crosswalk decal is over it it looks kind of strange.

We've been working on a few environments that hadn't been traversed within EP1.However at the end of the day, theres only so much you can really do with the city scenery, and that falls as plausible, and within the timeline of the citadel explosion. I would also like to keep the mod itself from (while having new areas) getting overly large, and then never completing it.

We all know what happened to Nightfall. :(

That looks really good. I can offer detailed feedback if you want but generally I think the standard is very high. Great job chaps :)

Looking good! though you should really fix the alignment and rotate the texture 90 degrees on the fallen roof in the first screenshot heh, pretty much the first thing I noticed about the image.
