Chet has gone on record saying that there will only be one more DLC for L4D1 after Crash Course, and they haven't decided whether it will be a slew of new weapons or another campaign.

Well, technically they delivered on their promise, plus that will make three: survival mode + Last Stand, Crash Course, unknown whatever.

Guys you're not going to believe this.

I totally sold a guy the front half of a car and promised him the back half as quickly as I could, then I totally just ignored him and gave him a tire a year later and... you're seriously not gonna buy this, HE'S SHOUTING THAT HE GOT A GREAT DEAL at anyone who points out what I did to him!

But it gets better! He's totally pumped to buy another 1/2 a car in like 2 months! AND AND! it's not going to fit with the first car!

Why did I even bother selling people entire cars in the first place?

Cynically says The Pain as he fully intends to buy L4D2.

Guys, you're not going to believe this, I totally sold this guy my car I made myself, and told him i would throw in some fuzzy dice, and now he's screaming at me saying that the dice aren't fuzzy enough and is now publicly proclaiming that my dealership is a ripoff and my new car is nothing but a few engine tweaks and a new paint job. I can't believe this.

I also intend to buy l4d2 :D

the car analogy is bunk.

half a car doesn't do what it's supposed to do, and that is to move.
meanwhile, i've gotten 100s of hours of good times out of l4d, doing exactly what it's supposed to do, and that is to supply me with 100s of hours of good times.

practically got my money's worth just playing the pre-release demo (read: test-drive).

In the past 6 months I've probably played 10 hours of L4D.

in the past 6 days I've played more than 10 hours of TF2.

What has valve done...different with TF2 than it has with L4D....

TF2 was also owned by Valve for about 7 more years before release than L4D was. Valve didn't have time to change much for L4D when Turtle Rock joined, this is more the way that Valve wanted L4D to be without having to delay it for a while which would have had people whining as well. They wanted to put more developers on the L4D2 team than L4D which is why there's less DLC. Anyway it's still more DLC than other companies would give out for free.

Wai-.. Wat.

You're compairing L4D with TF2? I shouldn't even have to answer that question, you should just rethink what you just wrote.

In my case, I played like 10 hours TF2 last year, then got bored..
But with L4D I play a minimum of 7 hours each week.

I'm not saying I dislike TF2 it's a great game indeed, but it does not fit the kinda experience I want from a game.
