Hahah I love all the comments on the walls. Plus I love the "different" approach to the finale and the first map crescendo event with the canon was great! Great length for a 2 map campaign. As most of you said, it felt like a 4 map campaign.

However, I find there are too many pickups for the survivors.

I wasn't that impressed by this. There were some places where there were gaps in the displacements which you could see the skybox through. There were some walls that obviously just been textured on all sides with one texture rather than the correct texture on each side. There were some areas where survivors should have been hanging on when they fell off, but instead they just fell, got incapacitated, then dies a second later. It seems that every 1-2 minutes I was coming across a bunch of tier 2 weapons. Soem places I found it easy to get turnd around and lost. Personaly I would say that the maps in this are about 1 1/2 times longer than regular maps.

Overall I think the campaign was ok, but definetly not up to Valve's normal standards. Was more like a rushed out map that needed polishing and testing before releasing.

well you cant please everybody.

*laugh track

But yeah, some texturing seemed a bit slobbish and for some reason, bots have trouble leaving the spawn area without teleporting. wtf?

Steam corrected me, saying the sales ends on the 2nd of October.

I liked it a lot on my single player walk through and I enjoyed the environments, lighting, and gameplay. I can't wait to try this puppy out in vs mode. I'm waiting for the weekend for my left 4 dead buddies to get together and lan the game. It's a very solid campaign and it adds custom content to the game for others to use so I'm happy. There were some texture and lighting errors that caught my attention, and the finale-finale was a bit anti-climatic, but over all it's very much worth playing. I give it 3 out of 4 stars.

Tip for anyone experiencing looping music.

Some custom campaigns have interfered with some of the audio in L4D CC. What I got was almost a looping silent hill theme which at first I thought was very un VALVe like music, however when this clip started to play ever 20 seconds engulfing all other sounds I knew this wasn't from VALVe and it was driving me crazy, not to mention the music started getting to me.

Anyway delete some custom campaigns from your addons folder, or back them up and go through them individually until you find the conflicting one.

This campaign was really easy.. Even on harder diffucilties, I supposed this map would be pretty fun in vs, better test that later. All in all I didn't really find it very fun, in all this time they had to make a campaign, they make a short 15min one... Did anyone else get the thing where the bots won't leave saferoom at start?

I got that as well. Bots just stud there until they would eventually teleport.

Great little campaign - dialog has definatly been spiced up. My best line is when Zoey walks through a corridor filled with steam and exclaims

I love Steam!

Made me chuckle. End cinematic was poor, they had so much scope to do more, but overall I am very pleased!

I was walking, and I swear to god I heard Zoey yell:

"Yeah! Birds are dicks!"

Also... Gotta love Francais... "Look's like we gotta walk!"
"I hate walking..."
"10 minutes ago you said that you hated flying!"
"You can't blame me, can you?"

Not bad, wasn't too hard etc

I'm not amused at the fact they replaced the menu video again because it deleted my Thriller vid which took a while to download >_>

And yeah the end with the truck, what a waste. Could have been so more epic and I still don't see how it links the two campaigns.

I was hoping that Francis drives over that generator in the finale escape sequence, but he didn't. He was so going to 'kill' that generator. :D
