I think it's just generally awesome. F*ck paying for that trip. This joe guy is clearly a tit and from what I've seen his campaign looks like ass. If he wants to pay Gabe $3000 for Gabe to tell him what a noob he is directly to his face I say good on Valve for not wasting money that could otherwise be spent on making better games and good on Gabe for humouring this muppet.

What the fuck is wrong with some of you? The campaign doesn't look that bad at all. If he posted it here in the map pimpage thread I don't think the responses would be "wtf that looks shit" or anything along those lines. I like the look of it, and L4D campaigns are a fuckton of work, props to him. I'll be playing it when it comes out. I don't know where this intense snobbery is coming from, but it's completely unwarranted.

There seems to be an endless supply of people who're upset at valve and this kid, for what amounted to a cute little joke, and 3K that people willingly donated to have gabe fly out to this kid's house. At no point did it seems like he was going to take the money, and run with it. Everyone appears to always be assuming the worse from valve or joe, even if 2 seconds of digging could prove them wrong. For fuck's sake, get off valve's nuts. Joe's too.

1st Well i never played L4D splashing zombies is not original any more you see them every where.....
i think it is a waste of money (my opinion) how long did they brainstorm for this game anyway

2nd thing why i dont like it is XBOX360 bullshit around it
as if a release on a xbox360 would make it more fun... paying for content ingame etc.... the comercializing of games suck..... i think its not good for the console market eighter.... if each consoles have the same same games there is no reason any more to buy a 2nd or a 3rd console.....


Half life 2 & battlefield 1942 are my most favourite games to mod with...... i have i think about a 50 pc games...
im also thinking of starting to mod for ut3....

Err.. L4D is not just another zombie game, it's a four player coop game. We have crazy running "zombies" and special infected. The brainstorming for this game must've have taken a while, this game is very well thought through with the characters, the environment and gameplay of certain types of infected. You can't judge the game if you haven't tried it out.
