New guns are fun (I love the burst fire assault rifle) and melee weapons are as satisfying and kickass as I had hoped. Especially the guitar and frying pan. Love some of the new characters, especially the big black dude and the redneck "kill all sonsabitches" guy. The new special infected are whatever, the only one that I really like is the Charger.
I hope there are more sequences like the one at the end of the demo where you have to run to turn off the switch, as others have said it is a nice change from the "last stand" defense gameplay that climaxes tended to have in the original.
And damn those riot police zombies can take a lot of punishment.

Ennui wrote:Super sniper (one is the new hunting rifle, one is an autosniper) is only on top of the scaffold where the button to turn off the alarm is afaik. Assault rifles are either in the middle of the area with all the hedges, or on the wrecked up street after that section on a table across from the alley you come out from.

z_non_head_damage_factor_<difficulty> 0 = only headshots will kill zombies. Might not apply to specials, though, and one-shot kills are still one-shot kills (ie the snipers and melee).
