They don't know who won yet. That count was at 11:00 and the war ended at 12:00. They are still counting and will release the final numbers when they release the update later tonight!

If the boots take up the second slot, wouldn't they be useless anyway? Demos don't often jump with scrumpy bottles or tampon bombs.

But yeah, the game seems a bit too buggy :/ Hopefully they'll fix it up with a patch soon.
Not sure if this happened only to me, but after completing soldiers 2nd milestone I didn't receive any weapons... I suppose I should have gotten the flag thing so it's kinda shame as I was looking forward to trying it out. Anyway, the rocket launcher upgrade is what I am really looking forward to

Our TF2 server crashed 5 or 6 times after the update last night, I am assuming could not connect to steam servers on map changes due to heavy loads.

so besides the bugs, the new weapons really add to the gameplay
both demoman and soldier are now better in offense

I really like the sword and shield if you are a blue demoman

Well I've done all 3 demo milestones and no unlocks. But I do like the solly's stuff, Furling and I had a bit of fun with the pickaxe, it's pretty awesome when defending points!

i love the demo sword my best was 27 heads on koth_harvest in single life, my record with pickaxe was just 6
