Sure I don't think I am skilled enough to utilize a full SDK of L4D but I am totally sure there are some mod teams like the I Hate Mountains crew and the Deadlock team that would LOVE to get their hands on the code. Why is Valve not going to be releasing the SDK?

The first is the crazy coke guy in the first campaign:
The second has all the animations the rest of the infected have and isn't used anywhere in l4d2 as far as I know.

Jesus every time they release a new game people ask this question and every time we have to respond with the same sentence but this time I have had it raggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
It is because they offer the code to people who license the engine and if they just give that away there is one less incentive for people to license their engine.

Valve scrapped this because it helped the survivors more than infected, killing whole hordes with one uncommon, and used his model for Whitaker.
EDIT: didnt see the 2nd page, i r stoopid
love the new features!
