so are you talking about the map pic... or the well know work by the abstract artist MC Escher?

because if it is a valve map. then they based it off that work of art. (same if it is fan made)

The only way it would be in Portal 2 is if they had some sort of gravity changing mechanism and I don't see that happening. Sure it can be done by rotating the entire map but that's not very optimized and it just doesn't seem like something Valve would do.

well there was a custom map that did that when you pressed buttons, it would rotate the chamber. and you had to gat a ball into a slot.

Yes I remember that, but it was done by rotating the entire map. As I said I don't think Valve would use that method.

Given that the Portal version of Source is already capable of adjusting player cameras to always have the right orientation dynamically after a disorienting warp, including varying gravitation shouldn't be too hard... At least not for changing up and down. Sideways? Hell if I know, I try to stay as far away from Source's code as possible :)

I'd forgotten about that. It'd be cool if they did implement some sort of gravitational system, but I wouldn't count on it.

Anyway I think I'm excited to make some levels for it when it's out. I never did anything with Portal but it's kind of late to.
