I can't believe all this would be for a game that's a year away or more...

They didn't say Portal 2 would be a year or two away. Just EP3. But having the images of Vortigaunts and Gordon makes it seem like EP3... Oh well let's just wait and see what happens on March 11th!

Damn. Well, I just hope they have something good coming up, or people will be very disappointed.

Portal - The 2D Casual Game.

"We're all very excited of this latest installment of the Portal franchise which brings the wonders and mysteries of Portal to a wider margin of consumers. Available via Steam now!"

Yes, but you can assume they would announce it a year before. Same is said about episode 3.

Yes, and I wouldn't be a part of a boycott. They're always a joke.

Hypothetical boycott wrote: NO LAN IN SC2? NOOO! NO DEDICATED SERVERS IN MW2? NOOOO!
I'm going to not buy that game!
*buys the game*
would be better with what I was boycotting for. [/fail boycott]

Honestly, those are only for self-righteous nitwits... Wait, maybe I do belong in a boycott!

Why would valve create CSS2 when http://cspromod.com/ exists and is trying to take the best of cs 1.6 into cs:s, which valve failed miserably? Plus it's free.

1.logic > money
2.they are working on it
http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/10?ep=10

Most likely Be called cs2 not css2
Will not be a port like css, but all new more like cod4 did for the cod franchise

Might be:
called Tactical Intervention by Mihn Lee who left valve but is on good terms with them.

Mostly hoping for a Hammer/SDK update :smt023
*crosses fingers*
Valve wish list:
-Triangle Displacements in hammer/source
-Movable Datum(grid) Planes in hammer
& Arc Based Datum Planes
-Counter Strike 2

OH PLEASE! Give the biggest hints for a platform switch on the opposing platform? Interesting, but no-doubt unrelated.

Hmm let's see...

Because ProMod sucks donkey balls?

It certainly did back when it came out, even after an update or two. It could have gotten better over the years though.

EDIT: Steam on Mac? That's something interesting.
