Free Yourself

Postby Blink on Tue May 25, 2010 10:28 pm

Valve sent over a press release with no details except a link to this video, which speaks for itself:

So we can expect to see HL2 released on Mac OS tomorrow. I'm looking forward to trying HL2 on my MacBook but part of me wishes Valve would spend less time on fancy in-game trailers and more on getting Episode 3 out the door.

However, we can most likely expect more conversions to follow. Keep your eye on the Mac Steam page.

I can only hope that Episode 3 will have in-game lighting that good.

Definitely an eye-catching teaser trailer, it's just eye candy to me however since I don't own a Mac. =P

Imprison yourself with *apple.

I wonder whether/when we'll see a new Engine from valve. I whole-heartedly applaud this multi-platform advancement though.

Interesting. A parody video based on a MAC ad from about 20 years ago, when Apple was painting microsoft as a big evil corporation who wanted to control everyone.

Now Apple are the big evil corporation who build restrictions into their devices so you can only use what they approve, who hire cult psychologists and sociologists to build and develop concepts to use in marketing and peer groups to cause people to worship their product and defend it as if it were family.

Ironic, isnt it.

They were painting IBM as the big brother, at that time microsoft wasn't very large. But it is ironic that they thought mac was going to save people from conformity

Does this mean HL2 is coming to the source 2009 engine? will we have a new single player 2009 SDK? Will HL2 be updated for pc users too? Yeah, that's all I care about :p

GIEV EP3 god damnit! This IPhone, IPad & Mac glorifying starts to suck badly! I know its a new market for Valve but c'mon, is it really worth it to move projects like EP3 more and more into the future only for a bunch of "alternatives".

NO im not a MS Fanboy, i love to see that apple finally starts to get serious against MS. But that hype "Look i'm cool and individual cuz i got a iphone or pad or Mac" sucks.
