here we go again. theres hardly anybody being happy about these pics or portal 2

One of those pictures is already my desktop background and I am very very happy with it...

Yes, I learned this a long while ago.

The lack of AA aside, the design in this new game is much nicer than the old one, and the previews of the new characters and scenery makes me think that this game will make portal 1 look like a joke in comparison. Thank god for that.

Thing is though, Portal was never designed to be the success it was, Valve made it to demonstrate the portal gameplay and just have it as a sidegame along with Ep2. But because the gameplay was so epically good it's grown to this, so the second one actually requires more. Like good graphics.
