I got a few good gliches on my first playthrough, the first was an invincible alien that took down half my team as they tried to take him down, eventually we just ran and died... (this was in the map where the bloodhound has to light the path) and the other one was in the sewer level where when I tried to pick up some duel submachine guns it exploded and made around 10 sets of submachine guns...

the particles are in the vpk files in common/alien swarm/swarm. open pak01_dir.vpk in gcfscape, they're all in the particles folder

I do everything the tutorial says but it never works

.vpk's can't be opened.. their like locked or something :/ Obviously we don't get every thing :(

no00dylan you have to remove -alldetail from vbsp, or just don't compile it in expert.

Map compiled fine using a normal sky box but not the func_brush way which gave me TONS of leaks

q1: was anyone able to compile without (playable) issues?
q2: did anyone figure out how the slow-mo effect is done?
q3: any ideas why 8 info_player_starts when there are only 4 marines spawns?

btw, true on the game being overly scripted. i think a director would make it all alright. this game is too awesome and very addictive.

apprently you cant use costume playermodels either
decompiled the female marine model... made a few changes and recompiled it..
but its not showing up ingame.. even if i pack it in a .vpk file -_-
