Oh calm down. They've done more for you then you can return to them in a lifetime. I finally caved in and bought Left 4 Dead 2 for 5 pounds. I always said to myself I'd buy it if it were no more than 10 pounds.

sacrifice is pretty awesome, great layout, finale was cool as well
Highlight to read:
also the crescendo at map 1, when you had to open the container with the tank init that CEDA captured for research was so cool

I'm also really happy that No mercy is back.. altho kinda disappointed they use the southern common zombies
I didn't expect there would be any new versions for special infected like the spitter etc.. but I figured they would just port the old normal zombies

well maybe one day in a future update :)

Ah, I'm really reminded of some of the reasons I grew bored of l4d1. The lack of variety, the one-use weapon slots (do i use adrenaline or pills? melee or magnum? healthkits or defib or special ammunition?), the LOOOOOW resolution textures without any detail overlays to make it less noticable. But the return of the grimy asthetic (the gore i much prefer in l4d1), the sharp "adrenaline"-esque post processing, the lack of rochelle, these were all nice to revisit. Find it odd that they made custom "L4D1ier" concrete barriers when we already know what the barriers look like there in about an hours time.

Too bad the sacrifice itself was so anti-climactic, I feel so unappreciated for sacrificing myself :(

yeah, if I would design the sacrifice, I would have just made like a tank with unlimited health or send in tanks until you die so the ending was a bit.. meh, the rest was great tho

Yeah, the ending should have just switched to a survival mode for the one person who sacrificed themselves.

Great thing about that: I never noticed it, and I am a guy.

To be honest, it doesn't seem that bad, like... it's covered breasts of someone leaning down... I would expect them to look like that.

153 VS. 177

I'd say 177 is extremely tame.

Did Valve ever get that custom SI stuff hinted at awhile ago working?

Witch replacements anyone? XD
