Valve did an amazing job with this game. I followed through the whole ARG too, sitting int he IRC chat and the steam chat, gathering potatoes and wasting my entire weekend. :P

A few days ago I messed around with mapping for Portal 2, here's my first result. (I made a thread for it, probably shouldn't have though, seems kind of pointless).

Huh, apparently you can already play Portal 2 on Linux... just not officially.
Have a question related to modding or something I posted? Something that needs staff attention? I haven't been active lately, but feel free to PM me or message me on Steam(link below)

I am demanding to see the sticky gel in the next Portal 2 DLC or mod. Come on, how awesome would it be to stand on the ceilings, walls, etc. so many endless possibilities...

sigh, if only we could also have zero-G chambers as well... :|

btw
Highlight to read:
Anybody see in the last chamber 15 (i think it was 15), where the exit was not already there and Wheatly had to add it, someone or something running towards that exit? Cant make out who or what it was, but it was spooky.

Hmm... zero-gravity test chambers. That could be some crazy stuff.

Have you wondered where the idea of the different colored Gels came from?

Pretty interesting...

It would only work if you had the ability to rotate view. Like if you are standing on the ceiling rather than having your head stuck on it... But that would be cool. however, it would make things a lot easier if you could just climb walls...

Also... DLC Coming this Summer.

I'm saying it now, the wheat field was computer simulated and the companion cube has cat souls in it.
maybe even a moon adventure, considering they hinted ratman is there.

One thing likely to release with it is the Official SDK. So that's cool... I would imagine a good deal of the DLC will focus on multiplayer levels. which would be easy to do since it is not a linear storyline like the single player game is. But perhaps you are right... It would be cool if it was "truman show" like and the wheat fields where actually just inside a huge building.

We will see...

Highlight to read:
There is a series hint. Somewhat. One of the SSTV transmissions translates to a picture of the borealis, and also theres some borealis ring buoy in portal 2. But i think thats it.
