The cake dispensary should have been an indicator to those who played the first game. "the cake is a lie" and so is that door...

I just came to a startling realization.

Portal 2 runs better than Portal 1.

Both games at the same resolution, all highest settings.

I friggin' love Portal 2.

Highlight to read:
I was about to cry when I finally got to GlaDOS the first time because I thought I just completed the campaign.. I was like omg that was too easy. I had forgotten everything about the gels which you won't see until after that. Anyways it has to be one of the best campaigns I've ever played and it also had an average length. Took me 7-8 hours to complete.. I especially loved the old department of Aperture Science ( The one with male voice and 60 buck offers : D) and how it was made

For those who still haven't completed Portal 2. Your gonna love it :)

I'm still curious about what's happening outside, now that she got out..
and I'm curious if valve will expand on the SP in the upcoming DLCs (fyi not yet announced) we can expect.. but my guess is they will focus on making coop maps only because it's easier and the SP feels like a done deal

Looking at the models... so many polygons, I'm talking tens of thousands.

I took a quick look inside the portal 2 cgf to find content...as far as i can tell, everything is locked inside a bunch of vpk's, including models, props, sounds, everything. so how would we possibly go about extracting that content from the vpk's?

Easy, I extracted all of it yesterday. GCFscape or something.
