All of the people Valve invited to test the game are saying it's reverting many of it's features back to how they worked in 1.6. The whole point of this game is to get the competitive players off 1.6.

So then why are all the top players Valve invited saying it's designed to be as competitive as 1.6? Valve wants Global Offensive to be an e-sport.

I don't get why people are so worried about it. Valve's keeping Source separate from this, and 1.6 will always be 1.6. They're finally paying attention to the competitive CS community. Sure it's coming late as hell, but it's happening isn't it? I guess the faith towards Valve has really worn thin amongst fans. I mean there's even people worrying that it will end up being a Call of Duty clone.

Then again, in most cases when it comes to a video game series, the original game is usually the best so it's no surprise that people are so stuck on 1.6.
